EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE (EI or EQ) is usually defined as the ability to identify, manage, and respond appropriately to both your own and other’s emotional information.
Unlike more innate intelligence quotient (IQ) measure, your EQ is more malleable so that positive attributes can be learned and negative ones unlearned.
Soft skills – is a term often associated with a person’s “EQ” (Emotional Intelligence Quotient), the cluster of personality traits, social graces, communication, language, personal habits, interpersonal skills, managing people, leadership, etc. that characterize relationships with other people.
